How much does it cost to install UV lights in HVAC systems?

Installing UV lights in an HVAC system does not have a single set price; Air Comfort Service, Inc. provides a firm quote after an on-site evaluation of your equipment and installation access. Most of the cost usually comes from the lamp type and how easily a technician can mount and power the light near the coil or in the duct. We routinely install UV lamps in homes throughout the St. Louis metro. HVAC UV Lamps require little maintenance; just replace the lamp bulbs annually. If there’s visible mold on the coil or persistent odors, sooner installation is wise; on tight air handlers, adding a small access port can make future bulb changes faster.

• Price varies by: single vs. dual-lamp systems and brand/technology.
• Access and retrofit difficulty at the coil or supply plenum.
• Electrical needs, controls, and any added mounting hardware.
• Number of HVAC systems or lamps needed per system.

Ask about current savings; $55 OFF any indoor air quality product installation (code 55IAQ24) may apply. Schedule an in-home assessment to confirm placement and a precise quote.
